Management
and Performance Bonuses
The
Company believes that all Employees share in the responsibility
to achieve sales and profits and share in the
rewards. Store operations
are evaluated twice a year following inventory. At this time, management
associates are eligible for a Management bonus and non –management
associates are eligible for a performance bonus. These bonuses
are based on employee's performance and Company and store results measured by net profit, total sales, and overall profitability. So,
with the Profit Sharing bonus, the typical ABC associate receives
three bonuses each year. Our founder Sidney
Kosasa often says, “When we make it, we share it.”

401K & Profit Sharing Plan
Securing ones future is essential to increasing efficiency and productivity amongst all employees. The Profit Sharing Plan was created to assist you in your retirement years. This is one of the finest benefits we offer to our employees. There are three parts to this plan:
1. The employee pre-tax contribution. Employees may contribute up to 100% of their salary to the plan subject to caps set by the IRS.
2. The company matching contribution: the company will match a portion of your contributions.
3. The company supplemental profit sharing contribution: each year, the Company contributes a portion of its profits to the Profit Sharing Plan
It should be noted that since the company added the 401(k) feature to the profit sharing plan in 1988, the company supplemental contributions has been larger than all of the employee contributions each year!
As an added benefit to the members of Profit Sharing Plan, the Company distributes a portion of the Company’s profits in cash to all active members once a year.
